This was Meg’s version of Sunday-best from yesterday. Excuse the blurry, I don’t know what happened! Should never rush, but I did because we were getting ready to leave and I just wanted a quick pic… but anyway, you get the idea. I love her stylish take on modest church apparel! Shoulders covered, dress below the knee, loose but not frumpy. Plus cute boots. And her brother’s glasses, which are inexplicably adorable on her. Lucky thing they have the same prescription!

She looks great, and totally appropriate for mass. For the life of me, I don’t know why even many conservative Christian people push back when some of us demand modesty. When you see it, you instinctively know it is right and good. I pray my 5 young daughters grow to be like your daughter. Keep up the great mothering!
